The plantation drive was led by Shri Vikrant Rai, Principal Officer-cum-Joint Director General (Tech), MMD Kolkata, along with Shri Anapu Srinivas Prasad, Engineer & Ship Surveyor-cum-Deputy Director General (Tech); Shri Bijendra Choubey, Shipping Master-in-Charge, Government Shipping Office, Kolkata; officers and staff of MMD Kolkata; staff of Nabik Griha Samity (NGS); and students of the Maritime Academy of India (MAI)
